hsinghai concert;
erm. all in all. i think it was quite okay yeah. yes. though the songs were quite the long and draggy. i still think that it was really cool yeah! ^^
first song; Xinjiang Rondo - WANG Chen Wei
haha. he puts his name like that on the recording. like Copyright: WANG Chen Wei. cuckoo guy. my mama says his music sounds more like indian music and they are all about the same so. erm. no comments on the tune. its just short and sweet. and like really structured in a rondo fashion yeah.
KWEKY!! why you never play loud enough? your part wasn't screwed. it's just too soft. me, ame and amanda strained our ears to hear you. can hear bits of it.. like you know echos and stuff. haha. ((: so dont brood over it ok. its really nice..

second song; legend of madam white snake - some old guy.
erm. the timp person was real good! her dynamics were just right. the second movement part about FaHai. it was just rough and like. LOUD. ((: which was good. haha. i sound biased!! i only listen to timp parts so do add on about the other DAJI PARTS [i emphasise DAJI PARTS.] in another entry. dont touch mine i.e. this one.
interval;
hmm. one flower wasted. -.- why must it be so stupid to drop all the petals as i walked down the stairs. so weird. end up amanda was like picking as i walked. hahahaha. ^^ damn funny. bl was like WTFH in front of chen wei. hoho. nice one.
and kweky got her white rose as she wanted. actually she was supposed to get TWO. but that flower sort of died so we had to give her 2nd rose to jiali. since we were giving jiali a rose too. *thinks song ni yi zhi mei gui hua - pipa song* janice got a nice rose too. haaha. bl gave janice a pure pink one and kweky a pure red one. HAIYAH. we should have bought the pure-bred ones. they are like bigger and plumper [referring to the rose buds.]
third song; fantasia of maiden mo chou - HE Zhan Hao
erm. bl playing timp so wu hua ke shuo lah. hmm. he was using american grip i think. hmm. french grip gives an elegant feel. german gives dark. so i think it should be american cause it gave a sort of mellow feel. hmm. i dunno.
kweky should stop hiding. we cant see her.
fourth song; butterfly lovers - HE Zhan Hao
erm. pipa guy's outfit damn weird? mama reckons its just to imitate butterflies. hurhur. wow. billowing robe. haha. i feel bad.
his pipa skills were good ((: but pity pity pipa doesnt sound good in this song.
originally this song was written for TWO VIOLINS. so one is zhu ying tai and the other one is liang shan bo lah. so its like they are talking and stuff. but end up the pipa chope ALL the parts. so you cant see or even hear any interactional kind of stuff. so i must say i was quite disappointed with this song.
janice did well for timp part. as in. better than xiaozu. WHY YOU TUNE WRONG!! very obvious mistake. G become G#... when it started echoing away. you can hear the G# loud and clear. hahaha. but i guess it was quite ok.. jiayou!
and it was the end of hsinghai concert.
dinner; lau pa sat - satays, xianggangmian, otah and blah.
nice food. ((: forgot all details. i know we were suan-ing janice. sort of. then eating. then breathing. talking. laughing..? like duh. haha. RJCO people were also eating at lau pa sat. some kind of coincidence yeah. ^^
homegoing;
haha. 4 ladies and 4 guys. not bad. 4 ladies - me, ame, amanda and kweky; 4 guys - zongjin, my brother, and 2 other RJCO people. haha. i was sort of suan-ing bl on the way home about his bangu part lah. at raffles place mrt. kweky and amanda ran off to NS line. then after that me and amel were like following. and bl was like telling us to stop.
and guess what? we still walked there. cuckoo one. -.-
